Valiant stands as a proud monument to human resilience. It was the first expansion frontier of MUD civilization beyond Exodus, and its name reflects the courage required of its settlers. What they found nearly destroyed them — an alien disease hiding in ore veins — and what they survived defined them forever.
The Translucid Pox¶
The defining event in Valiant's history was the discovery and near-catastrophic spread of the Translucid Pox — an insidious alien disease hidden in ore veins:
