Overview¶
- Name: Manus Ultima Divina (MUD)
- Nature: A unified government of humanity, rooted in divine revelation and led by the Holy Family.
- Philosophy: Expansion, Dominion, and the "Promised Paradise" (Cataclysm).
- Self-Image: God's Chosen People, destined to rule the stars.
History & Origins¶
1. The Pre-History (Solar Punk Earth)¶
- Earth State: A sustainable Solar Punk Utopia. People lived well, but it was static/stagnant.
- The Doom: A meteor was on collision course (50 years out). Humanity was unaware/unprepared due to the suppression of innovation for stability.
- The Visitor: God Ahr was actually a Photoli Traveler exploring far from Galia. He saw two paths: let them die in peace vs force innovation/survival.
2. The Revelation (Vincenzo & Ahr)¶
- The Meeting: Ahr met Vincenzo Assis Gotti (a man of charity and innovation) incognito.
- The Spark: Vincenzo said "While there is life, there is hope".
- The Intervention: Ahr revealed the coming doom and inspired Vincenzo to lead humanity.
- The Strategy: Force rapid innovation and unification to build an Ark.
3. The Schism (ECOS Truth)¶
- The Opposition: ECOS discovered Ahr was an alien.
- The Rebellion: They viewed Vincenzo's plan as "Alien Domination" and the resource extraction as the murder of Earth.
- The Result: Vincenzo had no choice but to unify humanity through a Religious/Organizational System (MUD) and consume Earth's resources to build the Mothership Serene.
4. The Exodus¶
- ~2120: Ahr visits planet Earth — through illusion, humanity is tricked into forming a space-based religion, plundering the planet, and leaving permanently
- ~2140: Humanity advances towards the stars; Planet Earth is left an empty husk
- Guidance: Ahr traveled with the MUD until they reached the Exodus Sector in Galia
5. The Expansion¶
- ~2399: MUD finds the Exodus Sector in Galia Expanse and establishes their base
- ~2400: Last appearance of God (Ahr) to the MUD — he leaves with the promise of returning once they find their true home
- Settlement: Mothership Serene became the heart of the empire
- ~2401: ECOS dissidence — ECOS leaves towards Old Grove Sector
- ~2410: MUD establishes first safe zone colonies — Valiant-I, Aurora-II, Verzan-III, Amora-IV
- ~2411: The Translucid Pox wipes out 8% of MUD population before being contained on Valiant-I
- ~2411: The Pearce Council is established on Amora-IV, becoming the bastion of MUD defenses
- ~2417: Pearce is born on Amora-IV
- ~2426: MUD expands into the Medium Zone — colonies: Mycenas-V, Xianyang-VI, Redam-VII, Pergamos-VIII, Abyd-IX
- Aggressive Colonization: Seized system after system, overthrowing local cultures. Expansion halted only by ONI/Ustur borders.
6. The Convergence War (Book I Era)¶
- ~2510: Explorer Gyun Oman discovers the Cataclysm (limitless Genesium). He illegally sells the data to all 3 rival factions — MUD, ONI, and Ustur — each believing they are the sole recipients.
- Reaction: MUD sees this as the fulfillment of the Revelation.
- Fracture: Patriarch Vincenzo Gotti dies. His heir Charon Gotti inherits a divided empire.
- Outcome: MUD forces were undone by the war, retreating to their home sector (Exodus).
- "Plan B": MUD leadership (High Council) has a secret contingency plan to ensure humankind thrives even if the Council of Peace collapses.

The Holy Family (Gotti Lineage)¶

- The Holy Servants (The Church): View Cataclysm as Sacred Ground. Demand consecrated claiming.
- The Pearce Council (Military/Colonial): View Cataclysm as Strategic Singularity. Seek control.
- Scientia (Scientists): View Cataclysm as Existential Threat. Urge caution.
- The Synod (Merchants): View Cataclysm as Logistics & Trade. Control shadows.
- The Senate: Weakened political body pleading for restraint.
Ex-Colonies (The Medium Zone)¶
- Worlds: Redam-VII, Mycenas-V, Abyd-IX, Pergamos-VIII, Xianyang-VI.
- ~2522: All five colonies — Redam, Mycenas, Xianyang, Pergamos, and Abyd — break out from MUD civilization, starting their own independent governments in the post-Convergence War chaos.
- Status: Abandoned during the war. Now contested ground between MUD re-integration efforts and ECOS influence.
